1) Needs analysis and labour market the area of intervention has a population of about 40.000 inhabitants, with data related to employment far for from european union levels and those of the rest of Italy. The data emerged from the survey conducted in collaboration with the partener-municipality of paola have shown that 64 out of 100 Calabrian young people are unemployed. The area present a socio-economic structure with resources connected to tourism and commerce. Over the last period the tourist sector has hed a strong quentitative development as to domand (+15% in the last five-year period) but with a poor confirmation as to supply, which presents workforce inadequately skilled. All this binds to direct to this sector the interventions of job insertion in favour of disadvanted groups.

2) Choice of professional figure the choice of the professional figures to train arises from the necessity to favour the acquisition of new abilities or to qualify more unemployed people and prisoners, groups of beneficiaries of the action, in connection to the local demand (catering and tourist areas) for skilled operators and directly usable manpower. Training courses for the following professional figures are being carried out:

- confectioners
- pizza chefs
- housekeepers
- chefs de rang

3) Beneficiaries ‘ choice the involved beneficiares are 200, divided into two categories, identified at community level, with the following percentages

• male unemployed 50% • female unemployed 50% the total nember of beneficiaries is further divided into
• male prisoners and ex-prisoners 20%
• men under 25 years 35%
• men between 25 and 50 years 15%
• women under 25 years 35%
• women between 25 and 50 years 15%

Partecipants are not supposed to have any formative prerequisites,

Certificate, to avoid barriers of access to social
Groups already disadvantaged as unemployed and prisoners.
